PCPG meeting at the office of SDPO MR Gunj

In the context of present prevailing situation in the valley in general and in Downtown in particular,a PCPG meeting was organized in the office chamber of SDPO MR Gunj Shri S M Shafi- JKPS today on 28.10.2017. Discussing various current public interest issues it was held that Public is the main stake holder on all fronts and without the cooperation of public all steps taken to resolve issues are bound to face utter steepness. Ranging from small adm problems to current braid chopping issue all issues have to be routed through legal way and in no way nefarious route should be adopted. During discourse of meeting public was assured safety against all anti social drives and tendencies and nobody shall be allowed to violate law and norms. Regarding social problems like drug pedling, gambling, affray, public nuisances and other issues public has been requested to cooperate and assist in addressing these issues on priority. Feedback has been requested from public on the performance of Police regularly. Public expressed gratitude for drive against encroachment near Babademb and requested to further the drive in other areas of the city.
